OSRP SAFETY SIMULATION WORKING GROUP PROVIDES ONLINE OUT-OF-POSITION SIMULATION TEST AIDS

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Nov. 30, 2011 - The Safety Simulation Working Group (SSWG) of USCAR's Occupant Safety Research Partnership (OSRP) conducted tests using frontal airbags to establish benchmark problems to aid the verification and validation of out-of-position occupant protection simulations.
A document summarizing the two sets of experimental tests, along with video clips to provide a visual summary of the general setup of the tests, as well as a detailed setup and video of each specific test, may be accessed by clicking here.
