Plant Floor Controllers Task Force

Welcome to the official Web page of the Plant Floor Controllers Task Force.

Mission

To identify and work on areas of common interest related to automotive Ethernet based plant floor networks in areas with the greatest mutual interest for development, such as:

  • validation test procedures for equipment utilizing Ethernet for the exchange of control signal traffic
  • device, network, and application security concerns
  • open information exchange protocols to take advantage of a common network architecture
  • control system wireless networking extensions to the wired network infrastructure
