Mission

To identify and work on areas of common interest related to automotive Ethernet based plant floor networks in areas with the greatest mutual interest for development, such as:

validation test procedures for equipment utilizing Ethernet for the exchange of control signal traffic
device, network, and application security concerns
open information exchange protocols to take advantage of a common network architecture
control system wireless networking extensions to the wired network infrastructure
