Aerodynamics Working Group

Welcome to the official Web page of the Aerodynamics Working Group.

Mission
Through non-competitive collaboration, the goals of the Aerodynamic Working Group are to strengthen the U.S. technology base by:

  • Developing a shared data base of aerodynamic benchmark information
  • Improving current test procedures and correction methods
  • Identifying competitive aerodynamic design solutions
  • Improving aerodynamic target setting processes to achieve competitive levels
  • Reducing product development and facility testing costs
Vision
To provide a cooperative working environment to strengthen the aerodynamic technology base in the U.S. Automotive Industry, and to improve fuel economy and reduce costs through non-competitive collaboration.
